Intro
[A2] They've never seen an electric car here before (repeat 2x)
[A2] Growing up in a nowhere town
More easily lost and never found
[B4/A] Miles away from anywhere you've been
Learned that pretty much everything is a sin
[A2] Growing up in a nowhere town
[A2] They've never seen an electric car here before
Just sprawling junkyards of gas cars rusting disintegrating and more
[B4/A] In a trailer park next to the railroad tracks
I only know that I hain't goin' back
[A2] They've never seen an electric car here before
[C] Stuck at an Electrify America
in a Wal-Mart parking lot
[G] Looks like this is my last trip to DuBois
[Em] How do I even say it
[A4] A place that makes me grateful for what I now have got
Left that home town from where I'm disconnected
[C] The car won't start
I can't go anywhere
[G] There is not even an Uber driver around here
[Em] Feeling frustration
This is not exactly what I thought for vacation
[A4] Taking care of what I'm not sure
At least I proved to myself that the drive is possible
[A2] Darkness is falling on the asphalt parking lot
Its a long walk to the hotel
[B4/A] with ten bags a guitar and no sidewalks
This trip seemed like a good idea a few weeks ago
[A2] In theory this should have been all over years ago
[A] Its not my house
Never was supposed to be my house
[B4/A] If it was then why am I staying at the Holiday Inn Express
I'm grateful for the good Sam charging his Bolt
[A2] Offered me a ride to the hotel
[A2] They've never seen an electric car here before
At least there is an exit
[B4/A] A hotel with an outdoor plug
where mom used to serve caffeine to the truck drivers
[A2] They've never seen an electric car here before
