Re-evaluate 02:04
Re-evaluate Nashville tuning DADGAD [Dm] Got tested yesterday now I’m Tom Waits [D2] About a virus I can’t see is it punishment or fate? [D5ddb2] Last month I planned ten years ahead [D5] Now I wonder if in three weeks I’ll be dead Locked in this ICU haven’t seen daylight in weeks Behind the curtains all the doctors and nurses covered head to toe like freaks Another test another sample Do I become an example Another week after another week of rising cases Wonder if they just see the numbers, cause they don’t see the grief on my families ravaged faces Hoping I don’t die Maybe I live but don’t have much of a life Can I take the test again, can I re-evaluate Starting living healthy, take care of myself, or is it too late To shake this virus I can’t see is capital punishment my fate?

about

These are songs written and recorded entirely within the 100 songs in 180 days challenge (100/180) which started April 4th, 2020 and ended October 1, 2020. I ended up writing 109 solo songs with one additional 100/180 collaboration. These are a variety of song types and genres. Most were quick writes with some editing as noted in the individual song listings. 100/180 spanned and included songs inspired by prompts from National Poetry Writing Month (NaPoWriMo), the Song Skirmish Facebook group, and from July 4th to October 1st the focus was on the 50 songs in 90 days challenge. There were two dozen 50/90 collaborations that were not included in this posting.

The songs were are posted and remain in order of recording. Post-challenge, 16 of the total were selected as streamable and the remaining as bonus tracks for those wishing to download the entire effort. Left as-is to demonstrate that the process of of songwriting and getting better songs, at least for me, requires a lot of missteps and is not a linear path.
