An upbeat hopeful song for kids. When I was a kid I got lost in science fiction novels and television shows. Science was one of my favorite subjects and I dreamed of space travel. I was driving taking my grandson home after a weekend visit he looked up and said "Grandpa, I want to touch a cloud." In writing, it felt like one of Woody Guthrie's children songs, specifically using "Put Your Finger In The Air" as inspiration.
