about

Written and recorded entirely in the month of November 2017. Primary songs are based on experiences and reflections relating to Hurricane Irma which tracked through the Florida Keys and Southwest Florida on September 10, 2017. Bonus track songs were other song ideas written and recorded during the month. Many song ideas arose from prompts from National Novel Writing Month and the associated forum, as well as the Song Skirmish, and GYAWS song-a-week groups. All song demos were recorded as one scratch track using one condenser mic and Garageband for processing ,vocal and guitar effects. Most songs were recorded on the first take with minimal editing.
